Creating a Page on Your Intranet
Types of Pages
There are two types of pages: Content pages and Widget pages. Page types can't be changed after they're created, so if you're looking for the most flexibility and future options with a page, choose a Widget page.
Content Page
Content pages are just regular HTML pages with text, links, images, etc. This is called static content, as it only changes when you directly edit it.
Widget Page
Widget pages can have static and dynamic (i.e., automatically updated) content, giving you lots of flexibility in terms of layout and function. With widgets, you can include text and links on a single page and automatically update content from other parts of your intranet or external sources such as news - it's a self-updating page!
