IC 3.7.3 Release Notes

Form workflows now migrate automatically.

When you migrate a form from IC2 to IC3, its workflows, triggers, and private fields come along with it, matching the exact settings and behavior you had in IC2. There's nothing extra to configure; just migrate the form, and the workflow arrives with it. This applies to forms migrated from this release onward.

Forms are now searchable.

Forms show up in global search by title and description, so people can find the form they need without knowing where it lives. Results respect each form's visibility and permissions, and selecting a result now shows a real preview—description, fields, and whether it runs a workflow—instead of "No preview available."

New: Org Chart view for the Employee Directory.

Alongside the existing Cards and List views, Org Chart draws your reporting structure as a tree, built from your existing Reports To data. Each employee appears as a card with their photo, name, and job title, connected to their manager. Click any card to jump to that person's profile, and scroll and zoom to navigate larger organizations. Employees without an assigned manager appear as their own root-level cards, and the chart shows active employees only, consistent with the other views.

This release also completes the Employee Directory and user management redesign: a restructured admin sidebar, redesigned directory and profile pages, custom directory fields, CSV export, and cleaner handling of logins with no linked employee record.

Forms and Workflows

• Form owners can now export responses to CSV directly from the responses view. The export respects any filters and search terms applied, follows the field order on the form, and includes the submission date and submitter for each row. Responses you no longer need can be deleted, with a confirmation step before anything is removed.
• Forms have a new input control that captures both a date and a time in a single field.
• Fixed an issue where checkbox fields on migrated forms couldn't be clicked, which had been blocking submissions.
• Users can now reliably reach their own drafts and submitted responses.
• Approve On Behalf works again for users with delegation permissions.
• Workflow actions no longer report permission errors immediately after a form is submitted.
• Approvers can see collaborator answers when the form's visibility settings allow it and can see the Collaborate selection during the approval step so it's clear who's included.
• Workflow history now shows the current stage immediately after submission, without a reload.
• The responses view now shows staff member names in All Staff fields instead of numeric values.
• Required checkbox and file attachment fields now properly block submission until completed, with a clear validation message.
• Conditional rules now handle blank answers correctly. A rule referencing an optional field simply doesn't fire when that field is left blank, instead of causing the submission to fail.
• "All Categories" now appears at the top of the category list instead of alphabetically among your categories.
• Approver names no longer disappear when an approver is opened and saved without changes.
• Category owners can now open the responses they're responsible for without hitting an error.
• The form layout you design is preserved on the submit screen.

Search

• Search shows a progress indicator while results are loading.
• Birthday and anniversary previews no longer reveal the year, keeping that detail private.
• Search result previews now show the description belonging to the selected result.

Employee Directory

• The Logins page now surfaces logins with no linked employee via a dedicated filter, and you can create an employee for them in one click. Adding a login is now a guided four-step wizard covering details, groups, roles, and credentials.
• Sync connections now appear directly under their sign-in provider on the Login Authentication page, so authentication and sync are managed in one place.
• A safeguard now prevents blank values from Azure from overwriting information already filled in on an employee's profile.
• Local account users can change their own passwords, with clear strength requirements; admins can reset any local login from the Logins page.
• Profile pages now agree with card view about who someone's manager is, and the Reports To field respects your local editing settings for non-synced employees.
• The Download CSV option is back on the directory page.
• Department and Location fields are labelled plainly, and the directory filter now includes any custom fields marked searchable.
• Opening a synced user's record for editing no longer produces an error, and their roles now display correctly.
• Setting a duplicate username is no longer possible — previously this could break sign-in for both accounts.

Employee Profile Widgets

• The new Employee List widget lets you display employees on any page. Select entire departments, specific employees, or use Employee Directory filters to create targeted lists such as branch rosters, committees, or project teams.
• Lists can be sorted alphabetically, organized with managers shown before their teams, or displayed as a rotating random selection. Managers are identified with a manager badge.
• Employee cards always display the employee’s photo, name, and job title. You can add up to five additional fields independently from the main Employee Directory configuration.
• The widget automatically adjusts to its placement. Full-width widgets display a horizontally scrolling row, while narrower placements use a vertically scrolling layout.
• A New Hires option automatically displays employees hired within the last 7 to 60 days, ordered newest first and showing each employee’s hire date.
• The new Celebration widget combines birthdays and work anniversaries into one feed, with labels such as “Birthday Today” or “25-Year Anniversary in 2 Days.” Birthday and anniversary entries can be enabled or disabled independently and filtered by department.
• The existing Birthday and Anniversary widgets remain available and unchanged.

Video Widget

• The video widget now supports external links, so you can embed videos hosted on platforms like YouTube or Vimeo instead of uploading files directly.
• Fixed playback so you can skip forward in a video instead of being snapped back to your current position.

Storyboard

• Employees can now react to and comment on stories right from the homepage carousel and story preview, with reactions styled to stay legible over story images.
• Story authors can control whether reactions and comments are shown on each story.

Other Fixes and Improvements

• Renaming a file while uploading it to Documents and Folders no longer strips the file extension.
• Adding an Employee Directory link through the site map picker now produces a working navigation item.
• Removed a duplicate description field in the global navigation menu editor.
• Folder directories and applications now delete correctly, even when analytics have been recorded against them, and historical analytics are preserved for reporting.
• Signing in to the home site no longer produces an unnecessary directory prompt for customers using Windows Authentication, single sign-on, or standard sign-in.
• Transparent PNG thumbnails no longer render against a black background.
• Review Date reminders now arrive at the right time, with clearer copy about the required action.
