# Blogs
## Blogs are a simple and easy-to-use platform to connect with employees and share relevant information in a timely way. The advantage of blogs is that posts and comments are easy to access and follow as everything is in one place.
#### **Build Your Blog**
You can either upload new contents directly or create a list of folders to group content.
To add new content, click New \> Item
To create new sub folder, click New \> Folder \> Add new content to selected folder.
#### **Default Blogs Layout**
The Blogs App comes with a standard 'List View' & 'Detail View' layout for its default home page. All layouts can be customized.
#### **Detail View**
Choose which field to include. Drag and drop the field to reposition it
#### **List View**
Choose which column to include. Drag and drop to reposition it
A feed-style browsing experience, allowing users to scroll through blog content seamlessly rather than needing to open each post individually to see content.
#### **Add, Edit & Delete App Permissions**
Edit 'View Content', Add Content, Edit 'Other's Content' & Delete 'Other's Content'

#### **App Settings**
#### Toggle comments, emojis, Read & Confirm and Advertising Options
#### **Export App Template**
Customized App template can be exported and imported in a different site
**To import:** Open Site Card \> Apps \> Create App from Template \> Import Template \> Selected downloaded template to import
#### **Promote Items**
Ensure Advertising Options has been turned on in App Settings.
Create New content, click publish and the Promote window will be displayed.

#### Display the Blogs app in a Widget
Use the App Feed widget to add the app to a widget page
Add Widget \> App Feed \> Select Source App \> under Show Body Content, select HTML Editor Field \> select Body to display full blog content in the widget

#### **Blogs Widget Display**
Users can interact directly with blog content from within the widget with emoji reactions and comments.
